When Clinique launched their bottom-lash mascara last year, we were instantly smitten—mainly because it made us happy that we weren’t the only ones who had been longing for this type of product. Yep, we blew through that tube (and our eyes looked all the better for it), so imaging our excitement when Estée Lauder’s Two Tone Eye-Opening Mascara landed on our doorstep. And we have to say, Estée Lauder outdid Clinique with this one by offering top-lash and bottom-lash mascara in one double-ended tube. That was enough to make us a fan, but Estée Lauder took things a major step forward by using different shades (and two different brushes) for top and bottom lashes, which has an amazing eye-opening effect.
It’s kind of crazy how using a bold color on the top lashes and a more subtle hue on the bottom has a brightening effect. These dynamic duos are available in 3 combinations: Bold Black/Rich Brown, Bold Black/Rich Blue and Bold Black/Rich Plum. We’ve been wearing the Black/Blue, and while it may seem like an odd pairing, trust us, it works.
And while we’re on the topic of double-sided wonders, pick up one of the new Double Wear Stay-in-Place Dual-Ended Eye Pencil Duos, too. With two long-lasting shades in one pencil, you get maximum bang for your buck, and similar to the mascara, using the Onyx on top lids and color on the bottom is oh-so now.
With different shades for upper and lower lashes, get ready for a major eye-opening effect

May is well underway, so do you know what this means? Memorial Day is just around the corner, and summer will soon be in full swing! Being that our mood is so bright and cheery, we figured we’d highlight makeup to match, so we bring you our favorite from Guerlain’s new summer collection, Terra Azzurra by Emilio Pucci.
Number one: We never met a Pucci anything we didn’t like. And when we see these products peeking out of our makeup drawer each morning, they put a smile on our face. After using the Meteorites Perles on and off for years, this limited edition collaboration with Pucci gave us a great excuse to pick up another one. The unique blend of six hues complements every skin tone and adds just the right amount of radiant glow. Perfect when your complexion needs a boost (which is every day, right?), this is a summer makeup bag staple.
Guerlain’s new summer collection offers a lot more than pretty Pucci packaging

In case you haven’t be keeping up on spring trends, orange hues in the form of tangerine and coral are hot, hot, hot right now. Of course fashion designers were hip to this months ago when the spring collections strutted down the runways, which brings us to today’s lippie pick: Clinique’s limited-edition “Runway Coral” Long Last Lipstick, which made its debut at Karen Walker’s Spring/Summer 2012 show.
This color was created by Clinique’s Global Colour Artist Jenna Menard specifically for Walker’s show, and this runway look is now a reality—at least for a limited time. The color is youthful, pretty and sophisticated, and we love how it works with all skin tones. The hydrating formula offers moderate coverage and maximum staying power, and all you have to do is pair this spectacular shade with a neutral eye and healthy cheeks and you’re good to go!

This hot hue is just what you need for spring, but act fast!
Lip stains are great in theory—but we’ve tried a ton of them and can’t deal with the uneven color and dryness that inevitably appear about an hour after application. When you think about it, it’s kind of crazy that no one has come up with a solution to this beauty predicament, but we found a lippie that delivers the amazing flush of a stain with the benefits of an anti-aging balm, gloss and lipstick in the same tube. With pleasure we introduce you to It Cosmetics’ Vitality Lip Flush 4-in-1 Reviver, and you won’t want to waste another minute before picking one up.
Developed with plastic surgeons, this all-natural formula hydrates and conditions your lips with a blend of shea butter, jojoba, aloe, argan oil, plum oil and cherry oil as it leaves a healthy flush of just-bitten color that actually stays put—without the flaking. It also leaves a light glossy finish and a protective veil of antioxidants (including acai, green tea, white tea and vitamins A, C and E) as it plumps up lines around the lips. Use it in place of your long-wear lipstick for color with maximum staying power—or when you need a little moisture, or a little shine. It’s up to you! (But we think it’s perfect all the time.)
Lipstick, balm, gloss or stain? It’s all 4!

Seriously, there’s nothing this lippie can’t do.
