Warm up your complexion even if it’s cold outside

Warm up your complexion even if it’s cold outside

I’m one of those people who uses bronzer every time I actually put on makeup. I can’t even remember when this habit began, and I’ve been loyal to Chanel’s Soleil Tan de Chanel for the past few years—which I actually just learned (while writing this) has been rebranded as Les Beige Healthy Glow Bronzing Cream. (No biggie, as long as I know I can still get my hands on it.)

But when Kosas launched The Sun Show Bronzer, I started itching for a powder-based formula again, and I ultimately bought it after Thanksgiving when it was 30% off. Since I fall in the “medium” spectrum for the brand’s Tinted Face Oil, I went with the medium “Golden Bronze” for the powder. Obviously it’s hard to get an accurate sense of color online, and I was really surprised how dark this shade is—I should have definitely gone for the light “Soft Bronze.” (I actually just might add this to my collection as well.)

But with this said, I can totally make it work, I just have to be extra light-handed and make sure I do a good job at blending. It has just the right amount of radiance-enhancing shimmer (without being too sparkly) and it totally gives my skin a fresh, sun-kissed boost (without the UV damage).

Just because it may be cold (and snowy) where you are, that doesn’t mean you have to look like you’ve been trapped inside for months—although many of us have. You’d be surprised at what a big difference a little extra golden glow can make, and there’s no reason to reserve the radiant skin for when you leave the house.
