It's starting to feel a lot like...

It’s a fact that the “holiday season” starts earlier and earlier every year. I’ve been trying to turn a blind eye to the decorations that are already up at the mall—and the Christmas trees I’ve already seen strapped on car roofs. But with Thanksgiving tomorrow, I can officially concede defeat, because the holidays have indeed arrived. I’ll be sharing a lot of beauty-minded gift ideas over the coming weeks, and here are two small ways to start getting into the spirit (after tomorrow’s food coma subsides).

If you get a boo-boo while prepping tomorrow’s feast, why not slap on a holiday-themed Band-Aid? I’m partial to the snowman design and my son has claimed the Santas (even though we’re Jewish).

Dry shampoo may be a staple no matter the season, but Batiste has released a limited-edition “Fresh & Festive Wonderland” scent that helps your hair get into the holiday spirit. (I can’t really figure out what it smells like, but it gets the job done after a workout or a few days without washing). Another holiday-hair option is the also limited-edition Dry Shampoo Trio. If I had a stocking this would be the ultimate stuffer since I have a travel-size can in my bag at all times.

Since I’ll be taking the day off tomorrow, I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving and rest up for all that shopping you’re planning to do Friday (if you’re crazy enough to go to an actual store)!
