The new makeup launch is MAJOR

The beauty world was abuzz this weekend with the Ulta.com launch of Flesh, a new prestige line from Revlon (although you’d have no idea the personal-care behemoth was behind the brand if I didn’t tell you). Much more than just another makeup line, these products were developed by beauty veteran Linda Wells—who’s obviously been busy since the end of her 24-year tenure as editor-in-chief of Allure.

Taking a cue from Rihanna’s wildly successful Fenty Beauty, the range of 12 products is all about inclusivity—hence the 40 shades of foundation available in the brand’s very first drop. Other products include highlighters (14 options), lipsticks (30 hues), blushes (8 colors) and eyeshadow palettes and more. The overarching goal for all of the products is to provide a neutral base for all skin tones, that can then be enhanced with strategic pops of color.

I’m particularly excited about the Sheer Lipstick, Lip Compact, Eye & Cheek Gloss, and of course I’ll check out the Foundation Sticks (which serve as concealer in a lighter shade than you’d choose for foundation and a contour stick in few shades deeper).

The range is available exclusively on Ulta.com through July 8, and then it will bow in stores. My calendar is marked for that morning because these products are going to fly off the shelves. I think this is definitely worth skipping the gym or getting to work late for!
