High heels have met their match

High heels have met their match

Aside from a pair of black satin (super-cute) strappy sandals for a formal event a few months ago, I can’t remember the last time I bought high heels. Truth be told, my closet is packed with pointy Manolos and colorful Jimmy Choos from my office days, but my current lifestyle rarely calls for spindly stilettos—and if I do wear shoes with a bit of height, they’re generally a boot or a block heel. This has been great for my feet, but after receiving not one, but two bat mitzvah invitations this week, I know I’ll be wearing heels on the regular for the next few years (and I’m actually excited to bust them out again).

First order of business (even before wardrobe planning): Getting a tube of Lord Jones + Tamara Mellon High CBD Formula Stiletto Cream. The ultimate hack for keeping your feet comfortable whether you’re sitting, standing or dancing the night away in killer heels, the reviews cast no doubt that this cream is a true sole savior.

Applied before and after wearing, this rich cream delivers approximately four milligrams of soothing CBD derived from broad-spectrum hemp extract to each foot with each application—along with hydrating cocoa and shea butters plus smoothing fruit acids.

I’m so anxious to see if it really works that I kind of want to do a test run before the first bat mitzvah in December—even if that means wearing four-inch heels with my workout clothes (obviously in the comfort of my own home). Stay tuned for updates!
