I haven't gotten a pimple since I starting taking this supplement

As you’re well aware, my skin has been in freak-out mode since the pandemic began. Between the stress and masks, it has been virtually impossible to get my complexion under control despite some exhaustive skincare efforts. Then, a few weeks ago, I read a story about DIM supplements (complete with dermatologist commentary) and I figured I had nothing to lose.

To get the educational part out of the way, DIM supplements provide the body with a compound called diindolylmethane, which is naturally produced when you eat vegetables like broccoli and Brussels sprouts. Research has shown that it may help balance estrogen levels, which is why it’s often used to treat menopause symptoms and other hormone-related issues—like acne. (However, if you use hormonal birth control or take another oral medication for acne such as spironolactone, it’s best to check with your doctor before giving DIM a try.) As an added bonus, it may also help with weight loss by stimulating fat breakdown and inhibiting fat-cell formation.

Bought these from Amazon and popped one as soon as they arrived. I’ve been taking one every morning with my probiotic, and I swear, I have not gotten one pimple since despite not making any other changes to my skincare regimen. Cycle-timing-wise, I was expecting a pre-period breakout (as always) last week, but alas, it never happened.

While I can’t say with 100-percent certainty that the DIM supplement is responsible for my clear skin, there’s no denying what I see in the mirror—and that’s been enough for me to sign up for auto-shipping so I’m never without these capsules again!
