My favorite lip plumper ever is back!

I distinctly remember when lip plumpers first hit the beauty scene… It was a little less than 15 years ago and DuWop’s Lip Venom (almost) single-handedly started the craze. Right on its heels was Fusion Beauty’s LipFusion, which took a decidedly more high-tech approach to topical lip-boosting by employing a variety of “filling spheres,” collagen and hyaluronic acid rather than irritating cinnamon oil. I was a devoted fan of many LipFusion products from the original and XL treatments to the tinted plumping glosses—and then it seemed they fell off the face of the Earth. But guess what… LipFusion is back (and I’m pretty excited about it)!

This go-around, there’s more Fusion to love, and the latest products aren’t just more targeted, they go well beyond the lips (but I’ll get to those). Yes, you can still get the XL Advanced Lip Plumping Therapy and Color Shine Sheer Plumping Gloss (in 15 shades, no less), but now there’s the XXL Advanced Lip Plumping Therapy Intense, InFATuation Liquid Plumping Lipstick and Plump + Shine Lipstick as well. But I think I’m most enamoured with the XXL Advanced Contouring Plumping Primer. This chubby lip pencil plumps it’s heart out while leaving a clear matte finish that boosts the longevity of any lip color you apply on top. The collagen-filling spheres act like a next-generation lip liner, but instead of using waxy product to keep lipstick in place, it plumps up those vertical lines to keep feathering at bay. Since it’s super-hydrating as well, I’ve been wearing it on its own as well.

I’m also loving the InFATuation in “Pucker Up” (natch) because it delivers crazy-shiny color along with lip-plumping benefits (and the dusty rose hue pretty much goes with everything). I also have the Plump + Shine Lipstick in “Foreplay,” and this petal-pink will definitely be a go-to come spring. It glides on easily and leaves a shiny wash of color that can be amplified with a few more strokes.

Beyond the lips, Fusion Beauty also offers lash enhancing serums and mascaras along with brow boosters that can help you achieve the oh-so-popular bold brow look. The line has also grown to include a variety of problem-driven primers, a bronzer and a blush so there’s certainly a lot to be excited about.

Do you remember LipFusion? Or better yet, will you be working it into your beauty arsenal again?

The scent that will never go out of style (at least not for me)
