No doubt we’re all at least familiar with the concept of color-correcting makeup, whether we employ these visual tricks or not. I’ve been known to use a green primer to neutralize redness (Pixi Beauty makes a great one) but that’s about as far as I go as not to potentially look like a clown.
But makeup brands are stepping up their color-correction game as of late. Take the Becca Backlight Targeted Colour Corrector in “Papaya” pictured above as an example… This is not a cream blush. This is a pre-foundation color corrector designed to neutralize deep blues and greens responsible for dark circles. I haven’t actually tried this myself, but I’ve actually seen quite a bit of social media chatter about it from Instagram to a few of my favorite beauty blogs. And I really could have used this when I was getting ready this morning.
What do you think? Would you give it a whirl in an effort to improve the appearance of dark circles?
