We might have a problem committing to skincare products, but we do not have a problem being faithful to our colorist. Three years and two salons later, Alex Marroquin’s hands are the only ones that get to touch our hair color. We’ve been buttery, ombre, and (now) super-light, and we bounce out of the salon happy each and every time. And the days of bringing in pictures are long gone, as we totally trust her with our tresses.
Last week we visited Alex at her new home, Muse A Salon. Well worth the drive to east Boca, this gem of a spot recently opened its doors. Between the Oribe products, the owner’s beyond-adorable Brussels Griffon mix puppy and Alex’s beyond-fabulous assistant, Kimani Newkirk, we’re thrilled with the new locale. So if you’re looking to change things up (in the hair department at least), go see Alex—and she does a beautiful brunette, too!
