After an almost eight-year hiatus, I’m back on the lash-boosting bandwagon, but this time around I’m not using nighttime serums. These days, I’m turning to supercharged mascaras, because why not reap a few extra millimeters with a product I’m using daily anyway? I definitely saw results from Dr. Lili Fan’s Probiotic X Mascara with Lash Booster Formula, I just added another to my makeup drawer.
When I first received Susan Posnick’s Colorcoated Mascara, I assumed it was, well, a color other than black—and fortunately I couldn’t have been more wrong. Fortified with a complex of peptides that nourishes, strengthens and protects lashes for growth over time, you also get major volume, length, curl and definition in an instant. Featuring natural iron oxides for rich color that doesn’t flake or rub off, the water-resistant formula washes off easily with any cleanser. This is a major plus in my book because I absolutely abhor using makeup remover.
The brush also has a uniquely shaped brush that gets right down to your lash roots, so you know the lash-enhancing ingredients are getting where they need to be, and the shorter brush length offers control and precision to minimize the need for post-application clean up.
