The right tools make all the difference when it comes to applying makeup, and despite trying brushes from just about every cosmetic line out there, one brand stands out from the pack. I’ve been a fan of It Cosmetics for years (read: before they became one of QVC’s top-sellers), and I find their products and brushes to be second to none.
Although I don’t wear foundation every day, when I do, I always reach for the Dual Airbrush Foundation Concealer Brush. This two-sided wonder lends a flawless liquid foundation finish thanks to plush, super-soft synthetic bristles that seamlessly blend color so there’s never too much here or too little there. The larger brush is great for all over, and the smaller end gets into those nooks and crannies (like around the nose and under the eyes) so people might think you actually have perfect skin instead of seeing your foundation. This brush is also a must when traveling since it can be used with blush and finishing powder as well, so it’s ideal when you’re trying to pack light.
And while I have you, I can’t live without the Heavenly Luxe Powder Brush either. It has ultra-dense synthetic bristles and its large size makes it ideal for achieving a natural looking bronzer result. I have an older one with a long handle, but I totally wish I had the one pictured here, as the shorter handle makes it much more portable. But with that said, I don’t see myself parting with this one ever.
