I’ve never really been one for limited-edition makeup collaborations, mainly out of fear that I’ll fall head-over-heels in love with a product and never be able to get it again. (Case in point: Tom Ford’s Lip & Cheek Stain from a few years ago. I bought 5 of them—no joke.) But there’s something about the forthcoming Courreges collection from Estee Lauder that has me counting down the days until it hits shelves in a few weeks.
Maybe it’s the punchy colors, or maybe it’s the mod packaging, but either way, I have a running list of the items I’m dying to try. Since a girl can never have too many lip options, the tinted Lip Visor is essentially a cream/balm/gloss hybrid that moisturizes and conditions while leaving a transparent wash of color. Available in clear and the perfect somewhere-between-peach-and-orange hue, it feels oh-so appropriate for spring.
Harkening back to the aforementioned Tom Ford stain I literally stockpiled, perhaps I’ll give the Lip + Cheek Ball a whirl. Whereas Tom’s version is more on the brick-red side, this has a lot more pink, which makes me think it will be perfect for spring and summer.
If only I had some vintage Courreges—like this black crossbody bag—to go with them…
