Anyone in the beauty biz knows all about Cosmoprof, the all-encompassing beauty show that takes place every year in Las Vegas (as well as Italy and Asia). Every product junkie’s dream, imagine tens of thousands of square feet of products, tools and treatments galore. And on the heels of the July show, one of my favorite product sampling programs, Glossybox, is offering a limited-edition box featuring some of this year’s standouts. I received the box about a month ago, and I’ve been beyond impressed with the selections…
Of course I’ll start with one of the full-size products I received, because this basically helps the box pay for itself. Just about anyone will appreciate Mastey’s Color Protecting Leave In Therapy Spray, because even if you don’t highlight or dye your hair, odds are you could use some damage repair and/or protection from the sun and heat styling.
You also get a full-size O.P.I. polish in “Pink It Through.” This opaque, bubble-gum pink is classic and timeless so odds are you’ll use it on your fingers or toes at some point.
The box also features a full-size Be A Bombshell One Stick, which as the name implies, is an all-in-one color stick that has your entire face covered. The one I received is a bright, vivid red, and I stashed it in my handbag for cheek-and-lip touch-ups on the go.
For hair, I’m obsessed with the Kocostar Hair Therapy. For those of you who have a problem with deep conditioner running all over the place while trying to wash or shave in the shower, this blend of herbs, amino acids, keratin, and liquid elastin come in a pre-filled shower cap. Not only does the cap keep things neat and tidy, it also allows the shower steam to help its nourishing ingredients penetrate more deeply.
In the face department, I’m enjoying Dr. Lili Fan’s Probiotic Age-Defying Eye Serum. In addition to probiotics (which are a hot ingredient right now), it also contains brightening vitamin C, smoothing peptides, and mega-moisturizers to improve the look and feel of the entire eye area. The sample of Skin Nutrition’s Cell-CPR was fantastic, too, and I really enjoyed how supple and radiant it made my skin after just one use.
And last but not least, Royal Apothic’s Cream Crème is a true treat for your body. This one product both hydrates and exfoliates (with gentle lactic acid) for incredibly smooth skin.
