Go from the sheets to the street with a slept-in look

Beauty runs the gamut from effortless chic to prettily polished, and usually I fall somewhere in between. I wear my hair on the messy side while my bold lips tell the world I made an effort, but I hardly roll out of bed five minutes before flying out the door. No, I do not wash and style my hair each morning, and it takes a little finessing to get the slept-in look under control—and that’s when I reach for Jonathan Product’s new Dry Dirt Texture Spray.

After a quick pass with the blowdryer to tame any hair that’s standing on end (that’s a side effect of short hair), all I need is some sort of texturizing spray to add a bit of volume and piecy-ness. While I do love Oribe’s Dry Texturizing Spray, it tends to leave my hair a bit dull (note: this is not a major issue for me), I’m pretty psyched about this new offering from Jonathan because it has the same effect while adding a bit of shine. It also provides a little hold so I can coax my ‘do into position and have it stay there for a nice chunk of time. The only downside for me is the scent (which is completely personal and not a dig at this product at all), but it fades rather quickly making this a non-issue. P.S. This product gives all lengths of hair a little grip, so if you have long locks that are on the silky side, a spritz of this comes in handy before putting hair in a ponytail or bun.
